In a Justice League book, which I'm too lazy to go look up now, Aquaman is off celebrating the Atlantean festival of lights during Christmastime on the surface. I'm not sure whether it was mentioned in the book or not, but the festival seemed to be a celebration of the ability of the Atlanteans to have light at the bottom of the ocean after the sinking.
So to all my readers who pop in to visit today, celebrate what you have. Celebrate the light.
