Aquaman was born in WWII, and fought in the pages of propaganda comic books against the Germans and the Japanese. He spent a significant amount of time protecting Allied troops and people (he rescued refugees from German subs in his first story).
I don't have a lot of desire to search for an appropriate image today. Go out and spend time with your family, and just remember. That's all, just remember.
