Mera to appear in Justice League United
Remember how I said Jeff Parker teased me with news that Mera would be appearing in another book he's working on? Well, here's the official announcement... he's working on Justice League United starting with issue #11, and Mera will be in the first story, for sure.

News from Emerald City Comicon
I use the term "news" loosely. As you may have noted, I met both Jeff Parker... the now former Aquaman writer... and Cullen Bunn, the upcoming Aquaman writer.
Jeff didn't have a lot to say, as he is off the book... but he did tease me with the news that a new book, title still unannounced, he is working on will feature Mera in the opening story. So keep an eye out for a new book from Jeff.
Cullen had very little to say because, frankly, he can't spill the beans about a book coming out more than two months from now. His vague comments were along the lines of "big changes" and "shocking new developments" with the goal of shaking up the book and getting people to give it a shot. He said there is a costume redesign, but couldn't tell me how extreme or minor it might be. He did mention that Aquaman will not be getting along with Atlantis... which is not a new thing for the character by any means, but depending on the angle could certainly be interesting. But the information I got was very vague and sparse.
Which, in the end, is fine by me. I don't much like spoilers and even avoid reading the solicits too closely before the book comes out.

Bombshell Mera Cosplay. And hey, how about a Mera sketch as well.
CBR has a conversation with Jeff Parker.
Todd Klein reviews Aquaman and the Others #2.
By now we've all heard about Aquaman in the Justice League movie, and the reports that Jason Momoa is taking the role of Aquaman in future DC Comics movies.
Meanwhile, Jon Heder wants to play Aquaman.

Link Attack! Run! Hide! Submerge!
Another positive review of Aquaman #31. And another from Comicvine.
Jeff Parker talks with Comicvine about his Aquaman run. You all already read the preview, right?
Parker also talks with comicosity.
Meanwhile, Dan Jurgens also talks about Aquaman.
Aquaman and Superman have a discussion about family.
How about a review of Aquaman Vol 4: Death of a King?
A bit of Aquaman art.
Fandom in Stitches has Aquaman designs. I almost wish one of my clever relatives would make me an Aquaman quilt...
I can't decide whether Scott Hilburn (The Argyle Sweater) loves Aquaman or hates him.
