DC Solicits

The solicits for DC comics shipping in August were released yesterday, with a handful of Aquaman books, including Aquaman #4 and #5.

Of great interest to Aquaman fans is a new hardcover: "Aquaman: A Celebration of 75 Years"

Celebrate more than seven decades of the ruler of the seas, king of Atlantis, and Justice League team member: Aquaman! Since his debut in 1941, Aquaman has defeated villains and saved the world on land and in the ocean, and this anthology collects his brightest and darkest moments in the definitive look at his history as a DC Comics Super Hero. Whether it's Orin or Arthur Curry, Aquaman is a beloved and timeless hero, and we're pleased to present this collection in honor of his 75th Anniversary.

I'm very curious to see what they include in this and hope it's more than the usual stuff that's been reprinted a dozen times already.

There's also a Bombshells Mera Bust. As much as I want to spend money on busts of Aquaman and Mera, I just can't swing such expensive swag. *sigh*

Solicits...

DC Comics shipping in July have been posted, and there's a bunch of Aquaman stuff, but a slight dearth of covers for the two Aquaman books coming out that month.

Aquaman #2 and #3 are both coming out, both with variants, but we only get the regular cover to issue 2 so far:

Aquaman is also due to appear in the Justice League's rebirth book. At least we get two covers for that:

There's also the new Titans book featuring Garth:

And the Bombshells book goes back to the Mera storyline in this issue, with what appears to be the introduction of Arthur Curry. Will he become Aquaman?

And there are also some neat-looking toys and collectibles. I would love some of these, but finances, eh. Whatcha gonna do?

The mini spinner rack has me intrigued, but I think the Aquaman bust is the best.

DC Previews

Because DC waited until Wondercon to announce its solicits, they didn't get into the latest Previews magazine. So, there's a nice digital edition for people to peruse...
