Updates
Happy New Year, everyone.
Holy carp on a stick, has it really been that long since I updated (early March)? I admit, it's hard working full-time and trying to maintain a blog, much less two blogs and a wiki, so the Aquaman site has definitely gone by the wayside. It also doesn't help that I generally get my comics a full month after they've been released.
If anyone wants to try co-blogging or working on the wiki, let me know by putting in a comment on this post.
In the meantime, Go visit the Aquaman Shrine for much more interesting and current Aquaman information. I will try to "backfill" the shipping lists and then attempt to maintain them in the future, but again, full-time job that keeps me extremely busy.

Contributing to This Website
1) Yes, I welcome contributions. The easiest way to contribute is to simply post a comment to ANY post on the blog*. I manually moderate the blog comments, so I'll read the comment even if I don't post it through.
2) Because the site is more active, you should also submit anything you have to The Aquaman Shrine. It's just as likely to be posted there, and will see a bigger audience. This site is more about the past of Aquaman, the Shrine covers all of Aquaman.
3) UPDATED! If you want to contribute to the FAQ portion of this site, you need to do two things. First, you must be able to edit Wiki formatted pages. Second, you must post a comment on this blog entry requesting I create a user for you. I disabled open account creation due to a large amount of spammers opening useless accounts.
People who already have a user name but have forgotten their passwords can request a password reset. I can do that now.
If you look like a legit person and not a spammer, I'll give you Guppy access to the FAQ. If you contribute a lot of useful stuff, I may promote you to an Atlantean. As the FAQ consists of mostly sightings and dry boring facts about previous issues, I suspect most people won't want to get involved, even if you can become an Atlantean.
*NOTE: If you have trouble posting a comment to this blog, you can also try posting a comment over on Bloggity-Blog-Blog-Blog. Just make sure you include the word "Aquaman" so I know it's an Aquaman contribution/request.
You can also send an email to my spam-catcher email address, but make SURE the subject line includes the word "Aquaman" or it will go unread. I only check that address once a day, so if you really want my attention, post a comment instead.
ALSO: If you would like to be a co-blogger on this blog, please let me know. There are a couple of folks out there I would trust with the keys to the blog. Since I doubt this blog can get less active, even if you don't think you'll post all that much, consider contacting me.

Contributing to This Website
I've been asked this question again, so I've decided to answer here on the blog so I can refer to it.

3) If you want to contribute to the FAQ portion of this site, you need to do three things. First, you must be able to edit Wiki formatted pages. Second, you must create a user. And third, you must request permission to edit from me (by posting a comment to this blog and giving me your user name and an email to contact you with).

Blackest Night...
I just finished updating the Blackest Night page, so if you are wondering what happened in the Blackest Night to Aquaman and his family, or just want to be reminded, take a look.
I'm constantly working on updating the page, but this is a hobby, not my full-time job.

Wiki
The Aquaman Website continues to grow into its new wikified format. If you want to participate, there are a couple of ways you can help out.
If you simply know of an Aquaman sighting, you can report it on the wiki. If the sighting is in a comic book, post about it in the Sightings Discussion Page. If you have found a reference to Aquaman elsewhere, like on TV (for example: The Simpsons or Mythbusters), you can report it on the AquaSpotting Discussion Page. And MANY MANY thanks to Vinnie for coming up with the name "AquaSpotting".
If you want to help edit, please drop me a line on the Soapbox or The Aquaman Mailing List. Editing on most pages is limited to Atlantean level users because of the extremely high probability of vandalism.
Please check out the new pages and let me know what you think. The Soapbox is there for you to stand on, or you can comment in this post. Seriously. I want some feedback. Thanks.
